Request mandatory input of information required by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for all passenger reservations arriving or departing from the US.

The US Department of Homeland Security issued The Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act in 2004 requiring that all airlines with flights to and from the US shall gather information regarding confirmed passengers in order to compare against security lists. (Watch List)
APPLICATION GUIDE
CREATING RESERVATIONS (PNRs)
Each time a reservation is made, once all mandatory data has been input also include the SSR DOCS where the following should be noted:
- Passenger’s full name as it appears on their passport
- Gender
- Birthdate
Entrance for PAX adult:
Entrance for infant:
(1) Include SSR DOCS. Flight from other airline, replace code AM. Example: DL
(2) Entry of five diagonals.
(3) Date of birth- day, month, year
(4) Gender: M- Male, F- Female, MI- Male Infant, FI- Female Infant
(5) Two diagonals
(6) Paternal and maternal last name separated invariably by a space (last name)
(7) Names separated invariably by a space (first and middle name)
(8) Name listed on the reservation (prefix-1), must be exact, will not be accepted in any other form by SSR
If referring to an Infant make note of the passenger’s name who is related within the PNR
When a passenger indicates that they have a Redress number or Known Traveler, the SSR DOC should be input with the following information:
- Redress number
- Country of issue (US)
Entrance for adult passenger:

(1) Inpput SSR DOC. Flight pertaining to another airline. Replace AM code. Example: DL
(2) Annotation of two diagonal
(3) Redress identification number – R- (redress number) or Known Traveler – K- (known traveler)

(5) Annotation of three diagonal
(6) Country of issue –US
(7) Name listed in the reservation (prefix-1), must be exact, shall not be accepted in any other form for SSR
Once transaction is completed:
Information entered shall be saved within the APIS section of the PNR: *AP1 the number corresponds to the passenger item to be displayed.
If the PNR includes more than one passenger, make note of the required number.
When displaying a reservation to verify or modify availability, the previous SSR DOCS should be consulted, should it not exist solicit such information from the passenger and enter it.
This information shall be input to the TICKETING GUIDE/ATOS via the Emulator, notice shall be sent once it is possible to input via the GUI.
